Tim Zach

Tim Zach | 8PM | No Cover

Tim Zach is that guy who used to sip beers at your local bar on open mic night. Ball cap pulled down over his eyes. Killing the crowd with that smooth baritone voice. The guy who entered contests for the hell of it – and always won. “I never had any ambition to become an artist when I was in high school,” admits Zach. “Playing in a band didn’t enter my mind. I just sang for fun. At that point in my life I was pretty focused on sports.” Zach was exposed to country music at a young age. His dad, Frank, was a big Alabama fan and the two would drive on Highway 13 near Zach’s hometown of Glidden, Wisconsin, singing along to “The Closer You Get.” “That’s still one of my fondest memories,” Zach says. Zach didn’t get serious about performing until 20 years later. Even then, his career as a musician happened almost by accident. Some friends convinced him to enter the “Colgate Country Showdown” singing competition in 2009. A demo tape landed him a live performance, which led to being named the “Best New Country Act in Nebraska”. Zach’s run in the contest ended at regional competition in Albuquerque, N.M. “But it’s where my career as an entertainer would begin.”

Tim solidified himself in the Midwest music scene with non-stop touring while fronting the band Whiskey Bent From 2010 to 2021 sharing the stage with countless national acts such as Jake Owen, Jimmie Allen, Diamond Rio, Blackhawk, Sawyer Brown and many others. While with Whiskey Bent Tim and his band mates released two albums “Whiskey Bent – How We Roll” and “Whiskey Bent- Blue Collar America” Which are both available on all streaming services. In 2014 Zach spent time at Station West studio in Nashville where he co-wrote and recorded “Like Him” – a song about his grandfather – as part of his first solo project released in November 2015 and is in the process of recording his sophomore effort with Nashville producer Stokes Nielson at Channel Greatness with the first single due out fall of 2021.

Shane Dwight

Shane Dwight

Shane Dwight | 7PM-10PM | No Cover

Critically acclaimed blues maverick, Shane Dwight, will pull you into his house by the ear after the first chord of No One Loves Me Better out on Red Parlor Records out on April 5, 2019. This esteemed independent label has long been a champion of music’s best songwriters, and Dwight is no exception. This new collection of songs is some of his most personal yet– gut-wrenching, and heartbreaking to date. The story of a man finding love, committing a crime and wanting redemption runs deep in Shane’s songs.

From the heartwarming “No One Loves Me Better” to the dark “Bullets & Gasoline” to the sassy “Sucker,” Shane nails life to the wall like a WANTED sign out in the wild west. Shane’s songwriting has evolved so far that he may be untouchable for a while, and fans won’t be able to get it out of their heads, critics won’t know what to do with him. But one thing’s for sure; he’s here to stay.

Recorded at Grammy Award-winning Kevin McKendree’s studio in Franklin, TN with a mega all-star cast of players the sounds of this album, are slick, powerful and groove driven. The heartbeat of the drums and the entanglement of guitars mix well with Shane’s raspy voice. The eccentric guitar tunings bring the haunted voices to life; you can almost see the movie. “You will hear some of my friends, Bekka Bramlett (Elton John), Kenneth Blevins (John Hiatt), and Rob McNelley (Bob Seger) who all came to the table that day to be a part of this story. The story is of a misunderstood man, his trials and tribulations over the perils of whiskey, women, and the music business.” – Shane Dwight

No One Loves Me Better, ends with “The Trial Of A Poet” – a haunting resonator and background vocals from the renowned Bekka Bramlett; it’s filled with fog, crunchy leaves, and a flashlight.

There are blues, rock, soul, country and a little bit of hip-hop that shows his California roots. It’s heavy, it’s deep, and it’s a swamp full of characters that show up at the fight.

“Exceptional talent…. it’s clear this cat can sing anything he wants.” – Blues Revue Magazine

Shane grew up on a ranch in Morgan Hill, CA a few hours from San Jose and Monterey, where the air was fresh, and the sun was hot. At the age of nine, he was diagnosed with Perthes bone disease in his hips that prohibited from him walking for about a year as a young boy. Since then, the debilitating illness does go into temporary remission but when it returns it forces Shane to live with severe chronic pain. Shane began to learn how to play guitar back in high school, playing with friends and bands along the way, he started The Shane Dwight Blues Band at 28. His musical roots were FM radio, Album Oriented Rock artists like Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, and Stevie Ray Vaughan. He dug deep into their influences and found a stack of others, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, and Albert King; those gave him the nod to take it even further.

Sometimes standing on the rock where Moses stood is vital to get the energy of the ground into your soul and when Shane stood on the same burn spot where Jim Hendrix once stood at the famed Monterey Blues Festival, he felt the mysterious aura seep into his bones. Bones that once were strong get weakened at times when you need to fill your cup.

Where do you go to get it filled up? At the well of course, and for Shane that well is his fans. He has crisscrossed this country and the world many a time, to bring the people what they want, his music – a blend of rock and blues with a little dash of country. His band went on to win the Monterey Blues Festival Battle of the Bands in 2001, and that’s when it began.

He caught fire that day in Monterey, and never stopped except to get gas. His grassroots approach to his career has also been crucial for he has built it fan by fan, show by show and album by album. From What You Need to Gimme Back My Money to A Hundred White Lies, Shane has conquered it all; festivals, CD sales, radio and press accolades galore from rock to country to blues and back again. Dwight’s most successful to date has been A Hundred White Lies, which received praise from publications like, USA Today, Guitar World, and Living Blues Magazine. It charted on several popular radio lists, XM/Sirius Satellite’s Channel, “Bluesville,” Living Blues Magazine, Route 66 – an Americana radio show chart for a total of about six months together. Then, in Spring 2018 he went into Greaseland Studios with Kid Anderson and did a fresh set of his favorite blues covers with another all-star cast of players, called High Time I Got Mine which is only sold at his live shows.

Shane’s hectic touring schedule reads like an airplane flight plan. He keeps it real with a bi-coastal routing to festivals, winery series and of course, he will show up at his favorite dive bar to croon. He has performed over 3500 shows over the past 20 years, headlining at some of music’s most significant events; Beale Street Festival, Portland Waterfront, Reno Blues Festival, Legendary Rhythm and Blues Cruise, Ottawa Blues Fest; sharing the stage with household names such as Blake Shelton, The Doobie Brothers and B.B. King. He’s backed off the 200 dates a year he once did, but he still brings the rock to the table and the blues to the dance floor.

Country and blues music is about the same. You see, they are rooted from the same soil with a Bible and bottle in each hand. And that’s why Guitar World said that Shane Dwight, “rocks hard.”

Tristen Schofield and Drive By Night

Join us for a night of great country music! No Cover!

Full of passion and a love for music, this is Tristen Schofield. He's been writing music for nearly eight years, with nearly 15 songs released to date. They range anywhere from slow country ballads (In My Dreams), driving swing dance tunes (Win Again, Good Company), to songs that border even a Southern Rock tonality (Tired). He has been working on the road tirelessly with his band and on his own to prove himself as an up-and-coming country artist, having opened for Kenny Feidler, The Lowdown Drifters, and even Pam Tillis. Known to bring the party, he has also closed events for Erik Dylan and several others. His songwriting ability has been recognized in the streaming world, having amassed over 100,000 streams worldwide and 1,500 monthly listeners on Spotify alone. After winning the Wild West Songwriters Festival (Deadwood, SD) in Oct. 2023, it became clear that he had made a place for himself in the region.

Originals AND Cover Shows? Yep, you heard that right! Tristen and his band have put in a lot of time to build a solid cover set before creating an original show, so yes, you can still find them playing in local bars, jamming to classic '70s rock and country with a mix of all their favorites on top. Pair that with the originals, and you will have a show that anyone can enjoy!

KC Cameron

KC Cameron

FREE CONCERTS | March 14th & 15th | 7PM-11PM

Emerging country singer/songwriter and military veteran KC Cameron released his sophomore album “Average” in 2023. That EP is now followed by the current single “Hopalong” released May 2024. Steeped in elements of neo-traditional country and heartland rock, the Minnesota-based musician uses his own unique approach to meld timeless arrangements with sharp, poignant musical storytelling inspired by self-growth and the sights, sounds and characters he's encountered while playing music all over the country for the past fifteen years.
Recorded at Yellow DOG studios in Wimberley, TX, the EP was produced by David Percefull and features four original songs all written by Cameron. Other players on the EP include Geoff Queen (Steel Guitar); Casey Johns (Bass); Wes Barlow (fiddle); Colton King (Guitar); Percefull (Piano/Organ, Guitar) and Julie Meridian (Harmony Vocals).
"Average" is an ode to taking a glance back at life from your mid-30's," explains Cameron. "As a kid that wanted to try everything; ever sports, cowboy sh*t on horseback, racing anything with a motor... You eventually look back grateful for all the cool experiences and education but also knowing you were just 'so-so' at a lot of things. Right up until you find the thing you really love.
"For me this started to happen when I found music. Music and writing songs just clicked and I knew that's what I wanted to do. There are a lot of comparisons that can be made for finding that special occupation and finding that special someone. Maybe you date a bit, maybe you thought you found the one and it didn't work out. Maybe more than once. So "Average" is a story of how it's ok to be 'about average at most things' but if you find that thing that really makes you happy, give it all you've got.
The EP kicks off with the richly constructed, honky-tonk tinged title track and first single followed by "Long Way", a timeless ballad that finds Cameron reflecting on the downfall of a relationship. Backed by swooning pedal steel and steady harmonies. "Lincoln" is permeated with Western swing and outlaw country leanings and the fiddle-heavy "Man From Tennessee" rounds out the four-song collection on a nostalgic note.

While hailing from Detroit, MI (the stomping ground of Bob Segar, Ted Nugent and the Temptations), Cameron grew up country in his family's quarter horse business where the records spun had names like Reba, Garth, and George (Jones and Straight).
Nearly twenty years ago, during his tenure at Michigan State University, Cameron realized his musical capabilities and started playing drums with local bands around town. Eventually, he was writing his own songs, playing solo acoustic shows and fronting his own band.
In 2015, Cameron joined the Army through the Nebraska National Guard. Throughout his time in service, he has been commissioned as an Intelligence Officer and had multiple tours of active duty. Simultaneously, he's been able to hone his musical craft. On a recent tour, Cameron got to combine his careers by playing shows on base in Africa on his days off while COVID restricted USO and Armed Forces Entertainment tours abroad.
April of 2022 brought the reveal of Cameron's homespun debut EP, 'Don't Get Better' which is available for streaming and download everywhere music is found along with the music video for the title track that gives a bit of a window into who he is and where you can find him on and off the road.
Cameron plans touring extensively in the Midwest and South along with his wife and songwriting partner Kali Indiana.

Calvin and the Coal Cars

2 NIGHTS | 2 FREE CONCERTS

Let’s try this again…” What do you get when you throw together a pedal steel player from the Seattle alternative scene, a Pink Floyd enthusiast guitar player from Wisconsin, a Warp Tour punk bassist from North Dakota, a meticulous funk drummer out of Baton Rouge, and a singer-songwriter from the cornfields of Iowa? Well, most wouldn’t jump to “a high energy alt-country/Americana band”, but that’s exactly what Calvin and the Coal Cars are. Calvin and the Coal Cars came together in the spring of 2018 with Brian Wetzstein (pedal steel guitar), Dan Upton (lead guitar), Matt Windmueller (bass), Robert James (drums), and Lee Calvin (vocals and acoustic guitar). In their short time together, the guys have had the honor of sharing the stage with national touring acts such as Asleep at the Wheel, Mark Chesnutt, Tracy Byrd, Whitey Morgan and the 78’s, and Sawyer Brown, as well as headlining their own shows at some of the region’s most sought out venues and events. In 2019 they were honored at the Magic City Music Awards by winning “Country Act of the Year” and “New Band of the Year”, along with second in “Original Song of the Year” for their song “Gypsy Girl”. Matt was also honored with a second place finish for “Bass Player of the Year”. Calvin and the Coal Cars are getting ready to record their first EP at Jereco Studios in Bozeman, MT.
