Danno Simpson was born in Dallas, TX, and raised on the high plains of Colorado. Growing up in a town where the local rodeo was the biggest event of the year, country music was a constant in his upbringing. Drawing his influence from Texas songwriting legends (Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark & Willis Alan Ramsey) and the mountain music of the Rocky Mountains, Danno creates story-driven narratives that pay homage to the past while connecting with modern audiences.

His powerful voice, well-crafted songwriting, and versatility as a performer have placed Danno on stage with multiple national acts from a variety of genres. Danno was recently featured in a Whiskey Riff article as one of the “15 Country Artists That Should Be More Well Known Than They Are” (2022).

This summer, he was been on tour opening for bands such as 49 Winchester, The Red Clay Strays, and The Steel Woods.
